Pennsylvania, USA - With the third of their three summer releases in 2025, Chris and Carol Green announced that their latest project: Vintage, is officially live on their website.
"Vintage" is a 25-track collection of the most-requested songs by family, friends and followers of Chris and Carol Green over the last 30+ years. These tunes, which span from 1990 through 2005, feature prophetic songs that speak to the issues of life, love, marriage and our relationship with God; all of which were written and presented in the uniquely poetic styles of the Greens. *Vintage" generally refers to something old, but still valuable or of high quality, especially when it reflects a particular style or era. More than 20 years after stepping away from writing/ recording songs in order to focus on their community work and book writing, Chris and Carol Green, as new A.I. (songwriters/ producers) music artists, have resurfaced with upgrades to their songs that have always been based upon their life in marriage, ministry, mentoring, and moving (by God's grace) through the messy parts of life.
"We didn't reengage these songs in order to launch a music career," the Greens assert, "Music has never been that deep for us. We're simply writers who have been blessed to set our poetry to music. The songs are merely tools that can momentarily catch someone's attention. They all point to very specific community services, outreach efforts, our books, our coaching, our online school, and various initiatives that we have produced over the last 20 years. We are hoping that the songs will cause someone to pause, ask questions, and want to know more about the love and care that's behind it all." Chris and Carol's songs continue to enhance their efforts, strategies and people connections as mental health coaches, marriage coaches/ mentors, and biblical lay-counselors; and elevated their soul care and spiritual wellness mission.
