Upon the completion of the Online CARE-Ready Life Coach Certification program, Ohio resident Dovonna Smith, became the 113th recipient of a life coach certification from the STEP Forward Life Institute.
“We now have people in 12 states who have been trained in our CARE-Ready model of coaching,” commented the program's creators and facilitators, Chris and Carol Green. “There are now 113 people who have been trained and certified in this model as life coaches, and we have one person that we have trained as a master CARE-Ready coach. This means she can train and certify others in her coaching model which has been rooted in our CARE-Readiness foundation.”
As the newest CARE-Ready coach, Smith worked through several personal challenges and obstacles to complete the course. At the beginning of her year-long journey she said, “I wanted to become a life coach as a way to be able to support others that have experienced life and felt sometimes as if there was no hope, and that all the things that they went through did not serve a purpose.”
Smith is the Green’s first online graduate since transitioning their program to its current format that offers students the opportunity to receive 1:1 personal coaching, tutoring and mentoring from the Greens as they are working through the courses.
Upon graduating Smith said, “I really honestly think that through the program I was able to discover the reason I was led to do so, in the initial beginning. At first I was not clear on the specific area in which I would be a coach. Now through this training and prayer, I have discovered the reason why.”
CARE-Ready Life Coaches and CARE-Ready Responders are now disbursed and embedded in 40+ organizations, businesses, agencies or ministries across 12 states including: Alabama, California, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
