Many still believe
that all people need to do is just quote a scripture, say a prayer, and God

mental health challenges. We wanted to immerse ourselves in proper education,

This specialization program in
Crisis Response and Trauma Care involved 24 hours of training and exams that prepares
leaders to come alongside of those who are hurting, and to help the interventionist properly and adequately
respond when a traumatic event happens. The good news is that God is always with us in our trouble,
and He has no greater plan than to work through His people as a conduit, to provide a "ministry of presence" that speaks to people in crisis, that God will make a way.

1.) First, the
completion of a 14-hour course called Foundations of Mental
Health Coaching - This introductory course was designed to provide
students with an orientation to the field of mental health coaching. Topics
covered included the role and scope of mental health coaching within the local
church, ethical guidelines and professional standards in coaching, crisis
intervention techniques, and the integration of faith and biblical wisdom in
coaching.

2.) Next, the
completion of a 14-hour course called Mental Health Coaching
Skills -The purpose of this course was to provide students with
the fundamental theories and skills of Christ-centered mental health coaching.
Key elements of the coaching process, included methods of change, listening,
effective communication, giving hope, operating small groups, and counseling
theory.

3.) And finally,
the completion of a 14-hour course called Mental and Behavioral
Health Disorders - This course introduced students to the
fundamentals of mental and behavioral health disorders. Particular emphasis was
placed on factors that cause mental disorders, as well as conventional
treatments. Conditions discussed included addiction, anxiety disorders, bipolar
disorder, major depressive disorder, eating disorders, and post-traumatic
stress disorder.

However, that still doesn’t change the fact that God will use anybody to accomplish what HE wants to do in a nation.

Where did we get the idea that a political leader MUST be someone who follows all of the principles of the Bible in order for God to use that person to accomplish His purpose and plan?

Again, we're not ignoring the agenda of any particular President. We’re actually acknowledging the sovereignty of God. As flawed as we are as human beings, it’s amazing that God chooses us to do anything in this life.

God called Nebuchadnezzar His servant even though he was the emperor that destroyed Jerusalem, killed thousands of people, and carried their best and brightest into exile. God chose him to execute judgment; therefore he was God’s servant even though he wasn’t a Godly man.

Political elections are about more than trying to get a scripture-quoting, Bible-toting candidate into Office. This is about getting synchronized with what God is doing in our lifetime in America. If America is under judgment, (and many Christian leaders believe it is) then God will set the person in place that needs to be there at the time of judgment, repentance, recovery or rebuilding.

So we’re going to stay focused on the bigger picture. It doesn’t matter so much who sits in the White House, State Capitol, or sits in the Congress. It still comes down to who is sitting in the Office of MY heart.

We'll close this week's newsletter with the lyrics of a song written by a dear mentor and friend more than 40 years ago.

If you want a brand new world, you gotta have brand new people.

If you want brand new people, we've gotta have a brand new life.

If you want a brand new life, you gotta have a brand new spirit.

If you want a brand new spirit, you gotta come to Jesus Christ!

- Dr. Myles Munroe

We encourage you to cast your vote, but do not cast your cares on a human being. world-changing idea, business, initiative or vision, but where do you begin? How
do you move from inspiration to manifestation? How do you launch a big dream?

We certainly had a big dream when we first arrived in the capitol city of Pennsylvania. We tried most of the popular and highly-endorsed methods that the so-called gurus had suggested and none of them worked for us.

We quickly learned that what works in one city doesn't work in another. What works in one region of the country or the world, doesn't work in another.

I offer what we learned in our journey.

1. Invest in your own community. Your community has to know and believe that you really do care for them. Think globally and work locally. Begin by investing on your home front. Make a genuine effort to help strengthen what others are building.

For us that meant collaborating with others; joining our ideas with their strategies. This was also where we discovered the validity of our ideas and vision. Please know that an idea might work in your head, but not work in the real world, with real people, in real situations. So this became our way of finding out if we had something that was legitimate and effective in real time.

Your vision should boost their mission. We didn't actualize
success through random marketing campaigns. presentations, seminars and workshops that promoted our vision, alone. We had to test our dream in
the real world. 'Buy-in' to your vision will be built on tested and proven evidence within your community.

2. Engage key community leaders. Get to know the leaders in the community, and get to know as many
of them personally as possible. You must step outside of the four walls of your world (organization, church, ministry, or familiar circles). We began attending monthly
community meetings, as well as government-sponsored luncheons and non-profit
fundraisers, and made great connections.

3. Listen to your community’s concerns. This is a statement that we posted on our business website: "Build a successful business, not only by selling a dynamic product and providing great customer service, but by connecting with your local community to help solve problems." Listen to learn what is most important to them. For instance, if youth suicide or homelessness are your community's biggest concerns, but you don't feel called to these areas, then find a way to connect what you do with the solutions. You may not work directly with youth or homeless people, but you might work with those who do.

4. Lift what's already working – Instead
of making your initial focus all about the solutions you have to offer, find
out about the positives in your community and celebrate those successes. Become a voice of encouragement for those who are
already doing good work.

5. Learn your community. Do you
know your community’s demographics? Do you know its historical significance? Do
you know its recent history? Do you know the under-served populations within
your community. Study what has already been attempted to bring about change.
Learn about what was successful and why. Learn about what failed and why.

6. Less is more. Instead of trying to set up large events, conferences and campaigns, scale back and focus on 1:1 encounters, smaller groups and high-impact invitational gatherings. It's far better to meet with 4 highly influential people in your community in a private meeting, than to host a 500-people event in a hotel that produces no momentum for you. The best way to reach the masses is not by mass media or massive events. The best way will always be by connecting with one key person at a time. Let your good reputation create a word-of-mouth buzz.

7. Serve somewhere in your
community. Build Goodwill through volunteerism.
For example, we volunteer in the local high school’s annual poetry writing
contest. At that time, we’re not representing our company. We’re just citizens,
helping out. We don’t talk about our business or solicit for clients. Through
this, we have built goodwill within the education community.

We also volunteered our services in an employment agency for 9 months and in a women's shelter for about 10 months. If your community has to pay for your time and (untested) services, you run the risk of being viewed
as just another predator. By the time they learn about your business,
ideas, solutions or outreach, they should already feel and know that you care about them.

8. Prioritize. One of the mistakes we made was to spread ourselves thin by saying yes to too many people, organizations, initiatives and activities. Eventually we had to prioritize our time and efforts, and focus on the development of our team and their growth. We had to drop the weight of good ideas and run with a clear, clean and lean vision.

You probably read all of this and thought: This is going to take a very long time; and you're right. It will take a long time. The speed by which the dream will come into fruition is based on the speed by which relationships develop. You can't make it grow faster than the relationships that you build in your community. It simply won't work any other way. Remember that as ambassadors of God's Kingdom, we bring HIS ideas to the table in our communities. However, we must embrace the Godly wisdom and steps that will get us to that table.

You are Success in Process,

Chris Green

Fruitful Life Educator and Community Servant

*Intellectual Property of Professor Christopher G. For a while, in our sincere efforts to help others, we said YES to almost everybody and ventured into other lanes beyond our calling. We found ourselves involved in organizational conflict resolution, business on-boarding, and well-intentioned trainings that only triggered people who were not ready for deep inner healing.
Then Chris got really sick and we have had to take a few steps back to recover from blows that came within battles that we were never meant to fight.
Now we're resetting and getting back on track with the original call and commission that was given to us. That has meant prioritizing and pacing ourselves to run the race (marathon) that has been set before us.
We don't mean any disrespect to anyone else, especially to those organizations and ministries that we worked with over the years. But we have to stay in our lane, and if our paths cross with those who feel they may need us, we now have the wisdom to weigh our options, assess our availability and ability, discern if it's a good thing to do versus a God thing to do, set boundaries, and do what we can, if we can. We know when to say 'no', 'not now', or 'let us think about it first'. We know for sure that our best way of helping is to stay in our lane and defer to others who might be able to serve them better.

We can no longer allow the visions and dreams of others to pull us away from the call and commission that it upon us. Our priority is to equip Believers in the region where God sent us, to do the work of ministry and service in their families and communities. God gave us one business, one school and one mission: The renovation of hearts and homes.
In the words of the awesome poem by Helen Steiner Rice, we’re no longer trying to light up the whole world; we’re just going to brighten the corner where we have been placed.
It's actually a beautiful thing.

Brighten the Corner Where You Are

~ Helen Steiner Rice ~

We cannot all be famous

Or be listed in “Who’s Who,”

But every person great or small

Has important work to do,

For seldom do we realize

The importance of small deeds

Or to what degree of greatness

Unnoticed kindness leads—

For it’s not the big celebrity

In a world of fame and praise,

But it’s doing unpretentiously

In undistinguished ways

The work that God assigned to us,

Unimportant as it seems,

That makes our task outstanding

And brings reality to dreams—

So do not sit and idly wish

For wider, new dimensions

Where you can put in practice

Your many “good intentions”—

But at the spot God placed you

Begin at once to do

Little things to brighten up

The lives surrounding you,

For if everybody brightened up

The spot on which they’re standing

By being more considerate

And a little less demanding,

This dark old world would very soon

Eclipse the “Evening Star”

If everybody brightened up

The corner where they are!

Chris and Carol Greenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07877339904629610741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2486908619294556239.post-40178064400960316172023-08-03T10:00:00.043-04:002024-03-09T15:10:03.292-05:00Chris and Carol Green Earn Board-Certified Mental Health Coaching Credentials

Chris and Carol Green (BCMHC)

Today, Chris and Carol Green officially became
Board-Certified Mental Health Coaches (BCMHC) upon completion of the 'Dare 2 Care' Mental Health Coach - First Responder Training program administered by the American Association of Christian Counselors through Light University.

“We've seen a lot of indifferent, cold and callous responses from many Christian leaders and their congregations regarding the mental health crisis in our country,” stated the Greens. “Many of them have been misinformed and still approach this issue from ignorance, stigma, fear, and very bad theology. Many still believe that all people need to do is just quote a scripture, say a prayer, and God will take care of the mental health issue by injecting peace into their minds. But God says through Biblical text, that His people perish because of the lack of knowledge. In this aspect of our human experience, we suffer from debilitating ignorance.

In response to this niaive mindset and theology, we just wanted to get educated, trained and empowered to address this crisis by learning from other, more knowledgeable and experienced Christian organizations and institutions who bring a balanced and holistic approach to helping individuals and families who are struggling with mental health challenges. We wanted to immerse ourselves in proper education, so that we could better understand the mental health crisis in our own families and communities."

This rigorous training program included:

First, the completion of a 14-hour course called Foundations of Mental Health Coaching - This introductory
course was designed to provide students with an orientation to the field of
mental health coaching. Topics covered included the role and scope of mental
health coaching within the local church, ethical guidelines and professional
standards in coaching, crisis intervention techniques, and the integration of
faith and biblical wisdom in coaching.

2.) Next, the completion of a 14-hour course called Mental Health Coaching Skills -The purpose of this course was
to provide students with the fundamental theories and skills of Christ-centered
mental health coaching. Key elements of the coaching process, included methods
of change, listening, effective communication, giving hope, operating small groups, and counseling
theory.

3.) And finally, the completion of a
14-hour course called Mental and Behavioral Health Disorders
- This course introduced students to the fundamentals of mental and behavioral
health disorders. Particular emphasis was placed on factors that cause mental
disorders, as well as conventional treatments. Conditions discussed included
addiction, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder,
eating disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

As Board Certified Mental Health Coaches, backed by the International Board of Christian Care (IBCC), the Greens have earned a voluntary global

biblical standards of practice.

“We are very pleased to have earned this credential," concluded the Greens. “Now we are better prepared to assist people through our coaching business and ministry. We're also able to become a more successful connection and liaison between those who need help, and very capable mental health professionals. We are part of an army of mental health coaches that are being trained and deployed across the United States. But this smaller percentage does not mean that these Believer's journey to healing and fulfilling their purpose does not matter. We must make room for them as well. And we have been called to dedicate our time and energy for those precious few.”

Before there was a religion called Christianity, there was a movement known as THE WAY. Participants gathered primarily in their homes for centuries; long before religious and governmental leaders persuaded them to congregate in massive buildings.

Chris and Carol Green launched the Fruitful Life Learning Community as an intentional effort to help people of Faith and Christian leaders return to some of the original simple lifestyles and the mission that demonstrated God's love and healing daily in hearts, homes, neighborhoods and cities.

“We know that our participants were simply looking for relationship, first,” the Greens explain. “That's why our ministry seems to identify best with people who seek a non-traditional faith practice. Yes, we are still part of the Church-at-large, but we are connecting with those who were missed, skipped over, passed over, or they simply slipped through the cracks of congregational settings.”

The Spiritual Wellness Support Group meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM Eastern Time, on Zoom

Learn more at https://www.fruitfullifelearningcommunity.org/spiritual-wellness-support

Chris and Carol Greenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07877339904629610741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2486908619294556239.post-37702376903993075342023-04-04T10:00:00.011-04:002023-08-13T00:36:12.591-04:00CARE-Ready Life Coaching® Receives USPTO Registered Trademark Approval

Community Life Coaches, Chris and Carol Green received an official Notice of Acceptance of Statement of Use from the U.S. Patents and Trademarks Office (USPTO), for their nationally and internationally recognized Coaching model known as CARE-Ready Life Coaching.

"This has been a long time coming," the Greens commented. Green (D.Hon.Causa)

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">I wrote the following 6 years ago after Donald Trump was elected President of the United States of America. Now that we have just come through the midterm elections, I still stand by these words today:

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">As I have written and warned in previous blogs, many in the American Christian Church were choosing sides. Millions of Believers were voting based on issues of liberty (religious, civil, moral, etc.). On the other hand, millions were voting based on issues of justice (economical, social, political, etc.).
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">Please don't be duped. Get out of your feelings and emotions and really listen to what I’m saying. We cannot win this battle by seeking one or the other (liberty or justice). In our pledge of allegiance, the quote is "liberty AND justice" for ALL. If you fight for liberty at the expense of justice, there will be an uprising from those who are not getting justice. If you fight for justice at the expense of liberty, the entire country will pay the price, falling under the tyranny of the majority.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">So how do we get both liberty and justice for all?
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">I believe both are found only in one government and that is the Kingdom of God. I'm talking about the governance of God in every heart and home.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">Now let me make it practical for what is happening in America today. The ugly giants of racism and class-ism are rising and Christian Believers will not be able to ignore them any longer. In today’s world, silence is approval of the suppression of liberty or justice. We must recognize it in our own hearts and expose it in our own Churches. W<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">e must deal with the -isms, but joining with or simply ignoring the protests, even in your own heart, is not the way.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">The slumbering giant (the True Church) is waking up. It is waking to its mission to win and disciple the nations, to take care of the poor and widows, and to walk and live in unity and love.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">We are Ambassadors of Christ, called to the Ministry of Reconciliation. We are not called to merely fight for liberty, but we must join the fight for justice as well. We can no longer leave these battles to the government or radical activist groups.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">A violent overthrow of President-elect Trump and the White Supremacy mindset that is often attached to many of his supporters, will not bring Peace, liberty or justice. If that were to occur, people would not unite. Instead, such action would only release another set of protests; perhaps a major revolt.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">I'm not a Republican. I'm not a conservative (many people's code word for racist). I'm not a Democrat. I'm not a progressive (many people's code word for socialist). I’m another one of those registered Independents who has, through the years, sometimes voted for write-ins at the Presidential level, while voting according to my understanding of Biblical priorities at the state and local levels of government. So I have no allegiance to any earthly parties. I ‘m not writing from those perspectives.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">Let me start here.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">My government is within me: Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost. On the earth, I can vote for a president, but in reality, I have a king. He is the God of the universe. He told Pontius Pilate, "My Kingdom is not of this world."
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">So our role, in this emerging racial and class war, is to promote reconciliation. Specifically, reconciliation to God, and then to one another. That's what the Word of God declares. It’s not an opinion. It's the command of God.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">Reconciliation is about bringing opposing forces and enemies together. Every one of us, in the True Church, is called to THIS. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. His word declares that He now pleads to the world through us.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">Over the last week I’ve had to tell myself to get back in focus. Get back to the reason God saved me. Get back to the place where I kept my eyes on the Lord our God. Let’s seek first the Kingdom of God and get His strategy to reconcile the fight for liberty with the fight for justice. He will do amazing things in the hearts of people.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">God says in His word: “Why do the nations rage, imagining a vain thing?” God laughs from the heaven because He has already installed His king. His king is installed in the hearts of His people and they already have a government. They already have a purpose because GOD already has a plan. His plan is Reconciliation. He desires to reconcile ALL people to Himself and to one another.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">So, before we try to fix America, let’s allow God to work IN us, so He can speak through us to bring reconciliation.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">Like millions of people in America, I was engaged in a texting conversation about the upcoming election and what it will mean for American Churches and various Religions in our country. My conversation was with a gentlemen that I highly respect and whose views and opinions are very important to me. While many political conversations are leaving people conflicted, I tend to focus on what we’re going to do on the day after the election; the day after casting my vote and my candidate has either won or lost.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">Since I’m a husband, father, life coach, ordained minister, and an overall nice guy (at least my wife of 35 years still thinks so), I must say that the various issues surrounding this election have left, in my humble opinion, millions of people of faith very anxious about this year’s outcome.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">There are various camps, denominations and groups who are vehemently opposed to one another’s political views, even to the point of questioning the legitimacy of the other’s Faith. This level of hostility is very dangerous and the day after the election will simply drive the various fragments of the various Faith camps even further apart.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">If we allow this division to fester, it will prove to be a critical mistake. After the election, regardless of the outcome, people of faith will need to rally together like never before. That’s because, many American Christians, who are leaning towards a Conservative as the President, see a loss as the signal to Progressives that they can launch overt attacks against religious liberty in America. However, they see a Conservative victory as, at least, a postponement or pushing back against that tide.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">While all of that may be true, there is another thought that I’d like to throw into the mix of outcomes. The way I see it, no matter if whether Conservatives win or lose this election, there will still be overt assaults on religious freedom.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">In my view, the soil of this nation is so saturated with anti-Christian hatred that Church leaders need to be preparing their leadership teams and congregations for some major public push-back, regardless as to which side wins the election. This is not the time to just sit back and wait to see what happens on November 8th. I believe many Church Leaders will need to have a plan of action in place for November 9th and the days, weeks, and months that follow.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">I realize there are those, from certain camps, who feel I’m just inciting fear and speaking negativity that can be used to bring panic upon many in the Church. Actually I’m just asking Church Leaders to implement Proverbs 27:12 which reads, “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">Yes, I say this with great caution. I know this can sound alarmist and overreaching, but we need to realize that this election is not about winners and losers. This is about the way that our society will view the Church on November 9th and beyond.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">I want you to consider this; that no matter who wins the election, the Church will be in the middle of a battle. So we must do more than raise the level of our people’s excitement and interest to vote. Don’t give them the impression that everything will be okay if their candidate wins. Like Jeremiah of old, when he was warning Israel of what God said was coming upon them, I’m saying everything won’t be okay.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">Finally, I believe we need to be preparing our church to pray and I mean daily prayer; around the clock prayer; and ‘even if we don’t do anything else on our agenda’ prayer. If we move to this level of prayer, we can actually be setting the stage for the Spirit of God to move upon the Church and even those who may publicly come against it. This could be the beginning of true revival in our country.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">When you go and cast your ballot, do not place your confidence in that person. Do not cast your hopes and dreams on that person. They can get my vote, but God alone gets my heart. We are bowing to the will of God. After you cast your votes, I ask that you pause for a moment and say, “Lord, thy Kingdom come and Your will be done on Earth, as it is in heaven.”
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">In this act of submission, you will be surrendering your life as an ambassador of Christ that He can work through in the ministry of reconciliation. That’s because we will need the release of the ministry of reconciliation on the day after the election.
<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">

<span face=""verdana" , sans-serif">I believe November 9th will be Day-One of a new level of spiritual warfare for the Church in America as it returns to its primary assignment of declaring and demonstrating the Kingdom of God in every day life.
Pitzl, who founded the Searcher Education model and philosophy, and Chief Chancellor HRH, Dr Clyde Rivers, the purpose of the session was to encourage and empower the attendees with wisdom for their process of building toward and preparation for global opportunities to bring the answers that nations are looking for through the collective impact of Searcher Education.

“We continue to be honored by the opportunities that UGCSI gives us to impart the lessons that we have learned in our journey, with servant leaders from all over the world,” said Professor Chris who, with is wife Carol, provide Administrative Leadership at UGCSI, and oversee the STEP Forward Life Institute. “Five years ago we could never have imagined that we would be teaching on an international platform.”

The session, which included attendees from Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago, the United Kingdom, and the United States, began with HRH Dr. Clyde Rivers speaking about his journey and the process he has gone through to reach the top status as the major voice of Civility in the world.

Then, at the request of the UGCSI Chancellors, Professor Green made a presentation about the Biblical precedence and practice of documenting one’s journey and progress. He demonstrated how this practice builds the evidence of success. He revealed that record keeping is so important that God had it documented that the writers of the Bible were documenting. He showed how keeping records saved a man’s life. He shared that we know about the life of Christ because it was documented. And he asked what would be today's understanding of the Church if Luke had not documented the Acts of the Apostles.

In closing, he provided tips and tools for building evidence in one’s Searcherdemic philosophy.

“We thank Professors Chris and Carol for giving us the practical steps forward in this,” Chancellor Pitzl informed the attending professors. “They are ready to help you in this process.”

“This is one of the greatest evenings that I’ve ever enjoyed,” stated Professor Jared Akama Onyari from Kenya. “It was very informative and educating. Searcher education is God’s education. If we have been given this Searcher Education, we should be like the prophets in the Bible. We simply present the spiritual and moral issues that are identified in the Bible. Unfortunately, the issues and interpretations of morality, justice and equality have fallen on two different sides of the dominant political parties in America.

This dilemma causes many Believers to vote for a president who is a Democrat while others vote for Senators and Congressmen who are Republicans. Or they vote for a Republican president while others vote for Senators and Congressmen who are Democrats. This is why it’s so difficult to navigate through the political process in our country. It’s also the reason it’s so difficult to explain one’s choices to family, friends and colleagues.

I wrote the following words after Obama was elected president, and they still hold true after the elections of Trump and Biden. Here is what I wrote nearly fourteen years ago and it is incredibly amazing how it still applies to us today:

After we sent an email on the day of President Obama’s inauguration and quoted from the Bible that we are to pray for him, several pastors and leaders in this community, who opposed Obama, discontinued support and communication with this ministry and us. On the other side, friends and family who supported the new president took our email to mean that we were merely offering some form of insincere political patronizing.

We thought we were (and our intentions were) fulfilling our Pastoral leadership responsibility to bring our divided congregations together and to focus on the things that God desires to do in our nation. Our email had nothing to do with either endorsing or rejecting the President.

Here is what we sent out on January 21, 2009:

"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers and intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone---for kings, and for all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Savior." ---1 Timothy 2:1-3

Make no mistake about it; yesterday (the inauguration) was a profoundly significant day. We still don’t agree with some of President Obama’s policies and agendas. Many of them conflict with Biblical teachings.

Presidential elections are about more than trying to get a scripture-quoting, Bible-toting candidate in the Oval Office.

It doesn’t matter so much who sits in the Oval Office of the White House. It still comes down to who is sitting in the Oval Office of MY house.

We encourage you to cast your vote, but do not cast your cares on a human being. announced the official launch of a new online, video-on-demand format for their nationally and internationally recognized and endorsed Life
Coach Certification Program known as Listen, Lift, Launch: Training and
Certification in CARE-Ready Life Coaching®.

“With our new on-demand format, prospective coaches can now go through the training anywhere, anytime, and at their own pace,” the Greens explained. “We are extremely confident that we have produced a quality certificate program that includes video lessons, rigorous exercises, and direct access to online instructors; and that it will be just as impactful as if though our students were walking through it in a live setting.”

More information and details are available through the STEP Forward Life Institute™.

As the founders of the STEP Forward Life Institute™ and
affiliate members of iChange Nations™, the Greens partnered with United
Graduate College and Seminary International to offer this accelerated and ministry-accredited life coach certificate program for people who have a simple desire
to help others. Their collective vision was to offer servant-leaders working in
under-served communities, high-quality tools that empower and equip them to be
more effective in their humanitarian efforts.

“We have been blessed to provide life coach training for organizations and individuals for over five years,” said the master life coaches. “Once we got to the point where our sessions were
selling out, we started looking toward a day when we could offer the course in an on-demand video format, as well as in-person or via live video conferencing through our coaching and consulting business, C and C Connections, LLC. Our business facilitated and proivided the venue for all of the session recordings.”

With the successful graduation of candidates in November of 2022, they will have launched over 100 CARE-Ready Life Coaches who are disbursed and
embedded in nearly 40 organizations, businesses, agencies or ministries across ten
states including: California, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri,
North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

As the world's leading producers of CARE-Ready Life
Coaching®, Chris and Carol Green teach and train community, government and
education leaders, human service organizers, business visionaries, and
neighborhood dreamers how to be much more effective by embracing the principles
of CARE (Compassionate Accountability with Respect and Empathy) in their
professional and personal lives.

Many coaching, mentoring, community outreach programs and ministries employ what is known as a "deficit model" of working with people.
That's an attempt to 'fix' broken people through a
set of pre-determined, cookie cutter, one-size-fits-all steps and treatments to address their
issues. The deficit-based model is what many well-meaning people-helpers use, but it
rarely works long-term, leaving them wondering why people fail to
break the cycles of addiction, mental health challenges, poverty and recidivism.

However, CARE-Ready Life Coaching® mirrors the principles
found in the proven, Best Practice strategies of Strength-based,
Solution-focused models that are embedded in the Biblical principles of discipleship in the Kingdom of God. CARE-Ready life coaches are trained to connect with
people in order to build a relationship/ partnership that encourages and empowers;
thus allowing the client to discover true solutions and answers for their lives.

Learn more about the CARE-Ready Life Coaching® and its Certification Program at https://www.fruitfullifelearningcommunity.org/care-ready-certification

(June 22nd and July 20th of 2022)

CARE-Ready Responding is the cutting-edge concept that was created by the Greens, that empowers people-helpers to operate in the principles of Civility, Awareness, Respect and Empathy in their personal and professional lives.

Bishop Raphael Green invited Chris and Carol Green, who had previously served as part of the founding ministry leadership of that congregation for 17 years, to return and adapt the virtual training for that congregation’s overall preparation for Evangelism and Discipleship of their families and communities.

In making the presentations the Greens told the new CARE-Ready Responders:

“With the tools and principles you have learned, you will be able to:

• connect and communicate with others more like Christ, no matter who they are, what they do, or what they believe

• have real conversations with others without comprising what you believe

• build trust BEFORE making an impartation into other's lives

• SEE the people and the world around you with hope

• be an active member in an ever-changing society while staying focused on where God has assigned you

• continually and effectively serve those hurting or in need

This training and these principles can be applied everywhere you serve, everywhere you interact with people. You have now been equipped to be CARE-Ready and it is enough for you to begin making real, lasting connections, one person and one soul at a time. So, go into the world and respond with CARE!”

The CARE-Ready Responder training is facilitated through the STEP Forward Life Institute™ which the Greens founded as an affiliate institution of United Graduate College and Seminary International. STEP Forward is an accredited online life education and ministry preparation platform.

The Greens explain, “We provide practical instruction that equips our online students to add to their faith, embrace their unique process of success, and make certain they’re prepared for those once in a lifetime opportunities to minister to their families and serve in their community.”

To date, the Greens have now launched 38 CARE-Ready Responders across the United States. They offer this training as the pre-requisite for Responders who desire to ultimately become CARE-Ready Life Coaches.
Chris and Carol Greenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07877339904629610741noreply@blogger.com
